Since 2005, Leadership Oconee County (LOC) has promoted and fostered the development of leadership in the Oconee County community. Leadership Oconee is a program designed to train emerging and existing leaders and build the needed skills, knowledge, motivation, and vision to develop a stronger community. The program prepares participants to become leaders and volunteers contributing to the decision-making process of public and private institutions and agencies in the county. Through exploration of issues, problems, opportunities facing Oconee County today and in the future, class participants grow and learn.
