About Westminster

Founded in 1875 as a railroad stop, Westminster grew alongside the tracks that connected communities and commerce across the region. The city’s historic Railroad Depot—beautifully restored after a fire in 2007—remains a focal point of downtown life and a symbol of Westminster’s resilience and charm. With over 100 original homes showcasing late 1800s and early 20th-century architecture, Westminster proudly preserves its historic character while fostering a vibrant, close-knit community.
