The art center is maintained by the Blue Ridge Arts Council, a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are a membership-based organization of a diverse artists from all walks of life and skill levels, as well as art patrons.

BRAC is sustained by the generosity of our members, volunteers, donors and sponsors.

Blue Ridge Arts Center is committed to “Bringing Art to the People and People to the Arts”. We offer opportunities for artists to show their work in our four galleries throughout the year, including an Annual Members’ Show, Juried Exhibition and various themed/invitational shows. Our classroom studio offers space for members and the community to participate in art classes, painting groups, artist demonstrations, events, and meetings. The art center also houses a gift shop featuring the work of our artists and members.
