Sponsored by the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce, the School District of Oconee County, and community leaders, Leadership Oconee County develops a corps of informed, committed and qualified individuals capable of providing dynamic community leadership for Oconee County. The program prepares participants to become leaders and volunteers contributing to the decision-making process of public and private institutions and agencies in the county. Through exploration of issues, problems and opportunities facing Oconee County today and in the future, class participants grow and learn .
